Default 99 Honda Acord CoupeHeater Fan

99 Accord Coupe V-6 with Climate Control
Ok I have a problem with the heater fan/Blower not working. I have done the following: removed the fan and it works fine when tested, no power at the plug going into the fan, I have checked all the fuses all are fine, replaced the relay in the fuse box that is in engine compartment, I found another relay that is mounted behind the glove box. I have not replaced it yet but I did notice when I rotate the fan knob from auto to manual-high the relay clicks and is the reason I found the relay. ?queston? does this mean it is functioning properly or is bad? Is there a way to test the relay for proper function? Any other suggestions as to what to check next will be appreciated greatly. Bad weather setting in and it is my wife's car so you know the rest of the lines!!!! Really bugging me!!

if u dont konw how the relay works, one easy way to check it is:

(in morst cases, specially hondas)when the relay is not on, only 1 of the 4 wires should have power. when its on, all 4 should have power running through them.

so stick the testicle tester in the wires and see if thats how its working. if no wires have power when the relay is not on, then only two should have power whne its on. and that means there's something wrong in the circuit, before the relay.

and goes on and on, complicated shit.

if u really dont wanna spend any money on it, just give it a direct connection and hook up a switch to it so ur wife can get by through the winter.

another thing, relays do not go bad so easily, they can take shit for a long time, so its more than likely something else, quite possibly ur climate control

I am waiting for the relay to come in. The thermostat is next on the list and was actually mentioned by my wife who knows nothing about cars except that they don't work half the time!!!

Is your car an EX-V6 or an LX-V6? Do you have knobs to turn the climate control on or is it digital display?

Let me know and I will look at the electrical schematics for your car and maybe guide you to solve this issue.

if u can, cancel teh order on teh relay. its way too expensive and non returnable.
i'm like 90% sure its not ur relay. work on the thermostat first. u can probably get that from junk yard or ebay.

actually u can get the relay from ebay for super cheap. like $5, instead of paying $60 at the dealer.
