Default rubbing tires?

i am replacing my stock rims and tires with 17 x 7 rims but was wondering what offset would be best 40 or 42. After researching i choose the 215/45/17 tires. i am also going to lower my car with h& r sport spring. Will the tires rub if i choose the offset as 40? Thanks

A 40 offset will definately rub 45 should be fine but might rub with a full load. The lower the offset number the farther it sticks out.
