Default Honda 97 SE Accord

How do you remove the crank bolt with a auto. I don't want to use a impact because it might damage the bearing.

What bearing

You need to pick up a special pulley removal tool. I got one on amazon for ~$25.

Hey, look what a 5 second google search turned up: http://www.denlorstools.com/home/dt1...pful_tips.html

The bolts are torqued to 140+ ft-lb. I had to use impact tools to remove mine as they were also very rusted.

Are you talking about the main bearings or the rod bearings or the crank seal?

Either way, I think if it can withstand 100MPa it can withstand an impact tool :chuckles:
