Default Timing belt change

Hello everyone i'm new to this forum.

I have a 98 honda Accord Ex with 110,000 miles. I was told from the seller that at this miles I should replace the timing belt. I know I have to replace several parts like timing belt, water pump, ect. The dealers charges me almost 1,000 dollars for parts and labor.
Where can I get quality parts for less $$$?
Is there anyone in here who leaves in Illinois???
Thanks.
Any help is appreciated.

If you have a garage I'll do it for you for $400

It's actually not that hard to do, you just need the tools and patience. I did it on my old Accord V6 and need to do it on my current one soon.

Manchester Honda is a good place, I always buy parts from them. Very fast shipping and good prices.

I used this kit off of ebay that's packed full of genuine Honda parts.

Not sure about Manchester, but Majestic Honda is really good too!

Great dealer site, with excellent prices. I saved ~38% on parts over the cost of a local dealer near me in PA for the timing belt, water pump, balance shaft belt and tensioners for my Girlfriends '95 Prelude SE.

Although I like and use Majestic for a lot of dealer items, another online store is autohausaz. They have very good prices, decent shipping and I haven't had any problems with the ordering or the parts I've used. I got all of my timing belt related stuff from them this past spring for my 96 Accord, everything was fine. I have used them in the past on my Civics and BMWs also, no problems.

you'll also need valve cover gasket. Let us know where you buy parts. I started looking into a possibility of doing TB by myself too.

Is it really necessary to replace tensioners and springs? What about Cam Seal,
Crank Seal, and Balance Shaft Seal?

Harbor Honda in Merrillvile, IN will do your timing belt for $650 after a $50 coupon that they will provide for you. Not sure how far you are from Indiana.
