Default 97 Accord EX ABS Brake issue

Hi,

I am frustrated with my 97 Accord Ex. The ABS indicator light turns on sporadically ... often after moving just a few mph. Additionally, when I attempt to brake, the ABS system appears to kick in as I decelerate (> 8mph) - this again happens sporadically. My braking ability doesn't appear to be affected, but it is very disconcerning to drive.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to how to solve both of these issues. I checked the brake fluid and everything is full.

I would like to fix this issue as best as possible, atleast enough to sell the car ASAP.

Thoughts?

Thank you - personal emails are welcome.

go to your honda dealer and find out if your car is under the warranty for that issue. I am not 100% sure but I think there was a recall for that problem and it affected mostly the 97 accord. Also, check for a free tuneup from ur dealer for the 96-97 accord.

Default abs

I had problems with abs in the past. When coming to a stop or slowing dowm to about 5 to 10 mile and hour, my abs would lock up sometime. I fixed the problem by replacing my axles.
