i just blew a head gasket on my 91 accord f20a jdm and cant decide what to go with. Stuck bet6ween h22a and a f22 jdm tell me which is better choice. Keep in mind that my wife is a terrible driver and has wrecked thios thing 3x's in 4 years.And she wil be doing most of the driving untill they reinstate my liscense

 

why dont u just fix the headgasket???

 

If your wife is going to be driving/wrecking it then I'd recommend doing whatever is cheapest to get it back up and running.

 

head gasket is gonna cost 900 so im figurin why not spend another 1000 or 1500. and go with a complete swap of tranyy to 5 spd and new motor

 

WTF $900 for a head gasket??? Get the part and do it yourself and save yourself $800.

 

if ur wife is tht bad go to a salvage yard and pull one out of a junker, install it prob 50 bucks

 

Well I Just Put A Paint Job On It Lowered It And Gettin Ready To Shave Handles So Im Not To Hip To Puttin A Junker In It. For Me That Is Nvr A Option. Only To Get Better.PLUS OBNLY ONE WAS HER FAULT. THAT WAS WHEN SHE PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF THE CAR DOIN 50 AND GOT BROAD SIDED.
