Default Where's the TCU on 96 LX??

I pulled up the ECU plate and thought it was supposed to be next to that-nothin!

Before I rip the whole car apart, where is that sucker?

Thanks.

TCU is within the ECU,
Its not the TCU, its your solenoid or tranny. Most likely your solenoid which is cheaper than the tranny.
Is there a shop that you know that could pass your inspection?

No shop around me can pass it because of the friggin CEL and the OBDII test (one reason I've never ventured into the 96+ cars).

I'm going to pick up a couple of used solenoids at the scrap yard and see if they do any better.
