Making a decision
This has probably been answered before but i have a 2002 honda accord automatic and i was wondering if you guys could give me ur opinion on whether you think it would be worth making the automatic to many manual swap.
Thx
Thx
worth it if u do it by urself or if u have the money to get it done.
if u'll be working ur ass off to pay someone else to do it, then NO. (IMO)
I just drive mine like manual( even tho its automatic)
Start off in 1, then 2, then d3 and then d4. U dont have to let go the gas pedal either, just switch it.
Been driving like that for 2 years already, and nothing gone wrong.

To my knowledge, never done it, it's not a huge endeavor if it's the I4 but if it's the V6 that's a whole different situation.
Unless the 6speed from the 7th gen V6 would fit, I have no idea.
If your auto is on it's way out than I say go for it, otherwise I'm not sure it's worth the money (as much as I prefer driving manual) unless you plan on racing or doing serious modifications that the auto couldn't handle.
