if you have read the advertise for the new accord, honda mentioned something about accord's chassis/frame stiffness is just as good as 3 series, but weigh less. also there's something related to MB E class...anyway as you can see, honda is really trying to compete with higher class cars. well at least i buy into it

As long as they can keep the price affordable I am all for it. Accords have always been the common person's car but with those options it might become a little too pricey I think.

nothing like a stock DVD player. eliminates the hassle and bootlegging of wires to put in an aftermarket product. anyone know what brand it will be or who is making them.

Probably not directly, but in a way it's close.

Before I got my 02', I tested a auto 330i (just sports package, no leather) and honestly, the Accord wasn't that far behind in interior.

Handling no comparison. Outside no comparison.

I'm comparing apples to oranges, but it is really subjective...h:

P.S: Is it just me or does the Accord dash look better than the TL dash.

IMO, the biggest advantage the Accord has over those luxo-cars is VALUE...you get more for the money spent. I just bought a 2003 Accord EX with leather with features like heated seats, in-dash 6disc CD changer, dual zone auto climate control, etc....On the other hand my parents have a '98 Mercedes Benz ML320 on which they spent about $45,000 on, and it doesn't even have a CD player. Also, the Benz has had several trips back to the dealer for problems that you wouldn't expect to get from a $45,000 car.

I love my new ride...and even if it isn't the prettiest thing on the road...im happy that it will keep it's value for a long time.
