Need Help To How To Turn On My Honda Accord Lx 1987 With Out The Key Because The Car Has Bin Sitting On My Back Yard For 2 Years And The Ignition Switch Broke And Need New Way To Turn It On Any Ideas

i dont know if it has a mechanical key lock or not.
but can u acsess the ignition wires? if yes, then get a tester and see which ones are constant 12+. take connect the 12 volts to each of the wires that did not have 12 volts.

u'll actually end up using 3 wires in total. one will the constant 12+
the second will be the one that turns on all ur electronics in the car (meaning when jump that wire w/ teh constant, it will light up ur speedo and etc.)


ok connect teh constant and the second wire (keep them connected in a way that they dont lose the connection)
then connect ur starter wire w/ the constant which will start ur motor.

if everything is right. it'll start up.
the third is the one that runs ur starter (when u jump it w/ constant)

 

and yeah. if it has a mechanical steering wheel lock, then u wont be able to drive the car around, u steering wheel will be locked in an angle

 

yeah thanx for the advise am going to try that and i was able to take the steering wheel lock off.
