Water pump ,open the cap cold rev the engine you should see it overflow. Air in the system ,the F's have an air bleed next to the thermostat. Leaks, pressurize the system and inspect everything. Rad cap ,thy fall apart over time and will not hold pressure this usually results in a lot of fluid in the overflow reservoir. Crap in front of the rad ,no air flow. Fans spinning backwards ,wires reversed. Head gasket ,look for white smoke out the tail pipe or bubbles in your system. You need to check this stuff in any order go from easiest to hardest.
