I have a 98 Accord Coupe, (4-banger) it has about 189K on it. It has been "stalling"/sputtering when I take off from a dead stop. One in a while it "sounds" like it wants to cut off/choke out at highway speeds. I cleanned the throttle body and am always putting injector cleaner in the tank, every 3-5K miles. My question is, is it possible that the fuel pump is trying to go?

 

one way to check that is to connect a fuel pump guage and check the reading at idle and when revved.
