Default 04 Accord Door lock problem

Okay, my battery died. I replaced the battery. Ever since then my keyless entry doesn't lock or unlock my driver side door, only the other 3 doors.

So I thought there was something wrong with the remote or something, but I then found out that even when you use the power door lock button on the door panel it to doesn't lock or unlock the driver door.

So I have been manually pushing down the little lock thing, and then actually using my key to unlock the door.

So does anyone know what the problem is? I think the remote is fine, like I said it works on the other doors just not the drivers. It also still takes down the windows and pops the trunk.

Thanks.

Ok this is easy the drivers door lock actuator has 2 wires one yellow with a black stripe and one yellow with a green stripe. Take your door panel off and get the the actuator. Un plug your actuator connector, plug in your volt meter as shown (little hand drawn pick) across both yellow wires, wire harness side not the actuator it self. Turn you key on and have all doors shut. Cycle your door lock switch. You should see

Example
Door lock switch to lock position 12 volts
Door lock switch to un lock positing -12 volts
It could also be vis versa

If you are getting both 12 volts and - 12 volts your wires and Micu (multiplex control unit) aka door lock controller are fine. You just have a bad actuator.

If you do NOT get the 12 volts and -12 volts you have and open wire or a bad Micu.

Heads up

How the actuator works:
The Micu receives signals from the door lock switches and door open switches. The Micu uses the signals to unlock or lock the doors by simply reversing the polarities on the actuator its self.

Example:

The yellow BLACK wire may be a 12 volt hot wire to unlock but be a ground to lock and the yellow GREEN wire will be a 12 volt hot wire to LOCK and be a ground to UNLOCK.

Sorry had to delete attachments.

Do you know if this is covered by warranty?

Fuse - Thanks for all that info and help, I appreciate you assistance, if I do attempt this project I'm sure I'll be asking more questions when I start.

This will be covered under warranty if your vehicle is still within factory warranty.

for some reason I am having the very same problem.

This happened after removing the battery.
I was wondering if this is some security feature or something. Though i don't see how.

Apart from the actuator. are there any other possibilities of things that could be wrong.

I will be testing the actuator connection this evening just to be sure.

Yes! this happened when I removed a dead battery to replace it with a new battery....it's so annoying.

Keep me posted on what you find, please.
