Default Clutch Adjustment Help Please

I am a brand new member. I just bought a second hand 1995 Honda Accord 5 spd. I have recently noticed that my clutch pedal does nothing till Im about 2/3 way to the floor and getting lower. After endless reading of forums herewith I would like to try Adjusting the clutch cable.

Would you be so kind as to tell me where this adjustment nut is located? Can i reach it from under the hood or do i need to jack the car up and find it under neath.... is it on the passenger side or the driver side.... You may notice by my ignorance that I am a girl..... but everyone has mentiond that this is such an easy adjustment that i wuold like to know how to do it.... Im afraid of costly auto mechanics insiting i need stuff i don't.... your instruction will be most appreciated.

I think your clutch is hydraulic, not cable. Bleeding the clutch fluid might help. (There may be air bubbles in the fluid.) Do you want help doing this yourself, or just knowing what to say to a mechanic?

First, check the fluid level in the clutch reservoir. It's the smaller of the 2 reservoirs in the engine compartment just in front of the driver. (While you're there, check the bigger one, its your brake fluid.)
