Default Switch from 17" Tantrums to 18" MR7's?

Alright I have 17" tantrums right now on my Accord, but from day one I've wished I had gotten 18" instead. Do you guys think its a waste to sell my Konig Tantrum 17's and buy 18" Motegi MR7's. I say Motegi because they are cheaper than buying 18" Konig's. It would only be like a $250 extra cost to me.

if its only gonna cost you $250, and you feel that its safe to drive in your area with tiny tires... then go for it... they'll probably slow you down some... but you get improved looks (in some peoples opinion)

Go for it if you feel its something you want.

I'd do it in a heartbeat if you've wanted to since you got your 17's. $250 isn't bad at all.

Yea, I factored all that in. I was gonna buy off ebay, cause they have better deals, 600 for the wheels-400 for the tires, and then I don't know how much I could sell my 17's w/ tires for. I'd just be paying the difference. I think I'll put an add up in the sell forum and see what I could get.

I have them, those 18s MR7s are heavy - just to let you know. 27.5lbs to be exact.. if this has any effect on ur decision.

Wow that is heavy. I think the 17" tantrums are 18 lbs each (correct me if I'm wrong). That will be a difference of more than 35 lbs of unsprung rotational weight! You are looking at a power decrease of 7-8whp my friend. That is quite significant.

Yeah.. I realize that. I've been thinking for a while of getting lighter 18s or possilbly lighter 19s.
