Default Short Shift

Ok, i have a 1998 Honda Accord 4 dr. F23A1 VTEC motor, and i am looking to buy a short shift but i can't find anybody who sells them for this year and model, they do sell the short shift adaptor and i was wondering if that does the same thing as a short shifter. Thanks

The adaptor does the same thing as the full lever (in terms of throw reduction, just in different ways). Generally I think cable shift setups usually just do the adapter setup). I think PSPEC might have the 98-02 Accord shift lever kit available.

There is no short shift kit available for the 98-02 Accords except the PSPEC(which I own) and the Lean Racing, good luck getting a hold of either one. I heard through the grapevine that TWM may have us in the works for a full short shifter.

And as for adapters, they don't provide near the feel that a full shifter does. Having driven both on the 6th Gen Accord(98-02), there is a difference. I'd wait for the opportunity to get a real shifter, PSPEC or the like.
