HI, I have a problem with my factory Alarm.
When i get out of the car and slam the door, i arm it with the remote. the lights do not flash anymore to indicate that its armed, but the system does lock the doors. The Led on the drivers side door does not Blink either.

The Alarm goes off randomly when the car is sitting. I can disarm it.
The Doors do not lock by themselves anymore.

Is there a way to reset the alarm?
The battery seems to be ok, If i were to trace a faulty ground for the alarm , where would i start if I wanted to begin under the hood. Few weeks ago, when this happend, I opened the hood, and slammed it, and it worked, but very intermitantly.

find the main alarm computer and knock/tap on it.

 

good luck i have the same proublem. mine happened right ater i locked my keys in my car and had to slimjim the door to get in. if you can figure out how to fix pass on tha good info lol
