i bought this car not knowing that it was missing the inside metal turnpiece that changes the temp from cold to hot. it seems to be stuck on cold (good thing cause its summer) but i cant switch it to heat, I'm not sure if its just the turnpiece thats missing or the entire mechanism behind it. does anyone know the best way to get that panel off and possibly what to look for?

 

if ur panel has been open before, then hopefully you wont 2 screws above the stereo, if not then u'll have to take off the center console, center panel, and the stereo.

you dont have to take out the glove box
