91 Accord A/C question
My A/C was blowing warm so I took it in and had it checked. I thought it just needed freon since it worked last year. They added freon and still blowing warm. I was told I needed the expansion valve and receiver dryer replaced. I had this done yesterday and then I was icy cold - colder than it's ever been since I have owned the car. Today, is just like before I took it in - blowing warm air. What happened overnight that my A/C isn't working anymore? THANKS in advance!
I opened the hood this morning and saw a blue wire near the battery cable just hanging out. Might the wire in question be the cause of my problem? (see pic).

Wire not part of the problem. Sounds like a leak to me. Is your ac compressor turning on when you hit the ac button.
Duralast built to last. Looks like your battery is leaking acid(electrolyte)

The day after I got the A/C fixed and it was blowing warm again I did not hear the compressor come on when I turned the A/C button on. That's why I thought it might have been something simple like a wire falling off or something. I got the car fixed and it worked fine. The next day I get up to go to work and I don't hear the compressor come on and it's blowing warm.

So no the ac compressor is not turning on but it did yesterday I would say leak or an electrical problem. The system has a psi switch so if it low it will not turn on the compressor. Or simply the compressor is not turning on due to no volts.
Do you want to diag?

I also checked the A/C compressor fuse (in the fuse box) and it was fine. A friend at work said there MAY be another fuse for the compressor in one of the electrical lines; he wasn't sure thought because he doesn't know about Honda's.

We need a volt meter. If you get one I am willing to help best place pawn shop. This may take some time In advance find the compressor clutch relay turn your key on check both black wires with the yellow stripe for 12v. Now ac button off you should see 12v in the red wire with the blue strip with ac ON you should see less then .1 volts. Get back with me.

Well I looked at the diagrams you posted and then went out to my car. I saw the A/C compressor cluth relay and the A/C diode but the condensor fan relay is GONE. There is just an empty bracket with nothing in it.
