Default 99 accord ex coupe 3.0 6 cyl your thoughts

Hi All
I'm looking at buying a 1999 6cyl ex coupe black I currently have a 92 lx 4cyl and 97 ex 4cyl
my question is what are your thoughts on the 6 cyl accord this car has 140,000 on it and looks great anything i need to worrie about on the 6cyl model

have the tranny checked.

find out when the timing belt and water pump were changed.

Do a search, I've posted a million times on them.

Mine went 248k miles before the transmission died for the second time. If the tranny has been replaced within the last 30k miles, go for it. They usually last 120k-170k.

Engine wise, aside from routine DIY maintenance, these things are indestructable. The maintenance is fairly easy on them.

I would recommend the 5MT 4 cylinder over the V6 though if you don't need the power as gas mileage, handling and maintenance costs are all better.
