92 Accord - Fuel pump or distributor?
My car died during cruise. I pulled over and it cranked more than usual, but fired right up.
Has newer main fuel relay and fuel filter. Ignition sytem (plugs, cap, rotor) are in good shape.
I wondering if I have a problem with my fuel pump or distributor going bad.
Where is the fuel pump located? Under the rear seat? Also, if the distributor is going bad, would it be problematic intermitently or go for good?
I want to get ready to diagnose this problem next time it happens. I will have tools to check for spark and have access to the fuel pump.

The igniter was the culprit. It died on me several times on the way home from work. Luckily, the symptoms occurred in my driveway and was able to test for spark. I found no spark from the coil terminal. Tested coil and it was good.
I guess the igniter tells the coil when to spark. My buddy owns a shop and he had a used OEM igniter that he gave me. Runs great now.
BTW, the distributor looks newer and non-OEM. The shaft was tight with no play.
