I have a 800x4 Rockford Fosgate amp too, but running two 15" Kicker Solo Baric subwoofers and i'm using the stock battery.

I suggest getting an Optima battery. My friend got one for his car running two 12"s (Alpine Type-R's) and it's been going well for him. Optima makes very good batteries.

Optima is good. I think the capacitor is more important than the battery itself for audio.

u shouldn't have problem starting up ur car in winter as long as u don't turn on ur stereo before the car warming up. im running two amps, 900w in total with stock battery and i have no problem so far as i live in BC canada. but today i just noticed that the indicator eye on the battery is dark, instead of green. i don't know what i should do now.
