i have a 98 accord coupe that makes a squeak sound when i turn the wheel. Its not the sound that you get sometimes if the car has been sitting in the cold for awhile. Its like rubber on rubber and am pretty sure that something needs grease. I went to the dealership and they want $90 for a diagnostic test. f**k that..i was wondering if anybody knew what the noise was and if i could do it myself

 

I take it you haven't even jacked the car up and had a look around??

 

it could be any number of things...maybe even a loose belt.
