I've seen the spy photos of the new 08 coupe. Does anyone think that the 8th Gen Accord has some 6th Gen flavor in it. I wasn't a huge fan of the 7th Gen design, other than the coupe. The sedan has always seemed bloated to me. However, the 08 version seems to have some characteristics in it's design, at least in the front end, that remind me of my 98 sedan.

I agree, the front does have that flavor, but it still reminds me a bit more of the 6th gen Accord. Maybe because it's a bit more boxy.

 

I think the NEW 2008 Accord is UGLY. I dont like the front OR rear!
My fav was the 7th Gen accord and the 6t Gen. I was hoping
to trade my 04 Coupe in for the new 08 when it comes out BUT
Im goign to pass on the 08 now

anyways, this car is nothing sort of a 2 door TL. I still say it's a 2008 CL with an H on it. It matches nothing in the Honda lineup at all ... which isn't a bad thing at all.

I can't wait to get one myself.

 

It doesn't look bad at all. I'm interested to see what they have up their sleeves for the sedan. I'm also wondering if we are going to be on the same platform as the rest of the world this time, instead of getting a different exterior body style, and the proper interior as the combo.

 

Car looks fine to me, it's got a little more character on the side profile than the 7th gen. I am curious to see what they have done with the interior as I LOVE the interior of the 7th gens.
