Default O2 simulator... (check engine light)

I got a check engine light .... code is O2 sensor Bank 1 High voltage.

I still get 30 MPG

I read that many aftermarkets O2 sensors doesn't really help, not permanetly atleast (doesn't last).

Since, I'm still getting good MPG, I thought it would be a good idea to get one of those o2 simulators for $15????

No, not for your front o2. Just suck it up and replace it They're primarily for your secondary o2.

Bank 1 is your front, Bank 2 is your rear.

Also, you can just try resetting it and see if it ever comes back. A lot of times the high voltage is just a single instance.

Well, which is it? Both?

My fault though, sensor one would indicate front while sensor 2 would indicate rear.

for the 2nd option your looking at all you have to do is go out and buy a sparkplug defouler. they come in a package of 2, and drill one of them out. It shouldn't cost more than $4-5 to do it yourself.

so the simulator acts the same as a spark plug defouler?
