Well, anything stock on that car and REAL performance are mutually exclusive I would imagine.

I"ll probably just do the Traction T/As again. Even if I have to change them sooner again, I'll proably get more life out of them than if I did something closer to a "performance" tire. I can't go summer tire for sure.

I got Hankook's for my car from Pepboys for like $45 per tire or something on sale and the tires are great. They're very comfortable and very quite. I would def. consider these tires again when time comes to replace them.

Last year I bought 8 T/A's (for Accord and Civic).
They were really good on a snow. They are much better than OEM tires that were installed on cars before. Also, they are not too expensive.
They produce a little bit more noise but overall I like them.

Default I went with goodyear triple tred

I replaced the stock steel 14" wheels on my 1990 Accord LX 4 lug with 15" EX aluminum rims and Goodyear triple tred Assurance in the standard size (I think it was 195) They are the top rated tire in the all around category and cost $94 ea, but worth it. Better to save money in some other area, but not tires.

Falkens are reasonably priced, offer great performance and a good ride. I love mine.
