1996 Accord V6 auto trans
Nothing. Just curious thinking how the tranny handles the torque of the v6 when I heard that statement. Won't it break sooner than the one on a 4 cyl car? But I suppose if they put the same tranny on an Odyess then it is possible they also use it on a v6 accord.
I've heard enough people in the newsgroup saying swapping engines without new trannys, or verse visa, on their civics and crxs. So I think that is a good possibility, as long as both are made by Honda.

ok, civic and crx,s and integras and and so on can switch engines w/o the trannies being switched because its the same basic engine, just variations
and the odyssey, and the tl cl, and the accord might have hte same kind of trans but not the same exact kind, some are 4spd and some are 5spd
now ur talking about i4 vs V6
no way they use the same transmission
