TCS Light Stays On
I've been running like this for a couple of months now. I have a Honda Accord EX Coupe 2002, 3.0L v6. Everytime I drive to reach the 2nd gear after reaching more than 4,000rpm my car slows down and TCS comes up. I have to shut off my car and turn it back on to reset TCS. The TCS button doesn't work even if you turn it off or on. I want to know how to remove TCS or disable it for good.
My car has a similar issue with TCS; but not all the performance defects.
Sometimes the Triangle light comes on and stays on at random points during driving... and button is rendered useless. I just turn my car off at the next stop and turn it back on. Problem solved for free.
I tried reading on my problem and found nothing on the 2002... Maybe you have some components unplugged already and that's why you're having a problem. Best advice for specific problems > take it to the dealer and explain your problem to a shop foreman... it's his job to diagnose issues, so if someone else has had the problem, he's most likely seen it.

Yeah. I always turn off my car at the next stop but it's annoying sometimes. Since I race time to time (lol) when I rev up it just stalls and puts me down in tears because the car slows down. If I take it to Honda wouldn't that affect my warranty if I remove it. Can you repair such a thing?
Okay. I read the FAQ: Accord 6th Gen 98-02 DTCs and followed by inserting a paper clip and figured out the codes for my TCS. What I need to know is where can I find such codes. So far nothing has came up by searching. Can someone help me out? It would be very generous of you.
The following codes were for TCS - 3 long, 1short ; 3 long, 4 short

So you a 3-1 and 3-4 let me look into it.
OK the 31 and the 34 could be from an open or short from the modulator to the tcs/abs control unit,a bad modulator or control unit.
The best thing to do is look over your wiring and then take it into a dealer for diag trying to find and open or short inside a harness is very hard if their is no damage to the out side.

I mean I don't want to fix it lol. I want to simply disable it for good. Can you show me a page for the trouble codes? Show me a pictures also of where exactly it is for my car. I'm sort of a noobie to electrical wiring.
To remove your abs mod is a pain all your brake lines run threw it(so if you remove it you will not have brakes)I have not seen any easy way around it except re running your brake lines.Follow you brake lines from the master and you will find the abs mod from their trace your harness back look for damage. You abs mod is a box with 6 brake lines running to it and on big electrical connector(on your car i believe its on the driver side fender area).
Well. I don't mean necessarily remove the brakes c'mon. Is there anyway to just disable TCS instead of removing the brakes. Also, I did a check on the lights again and for ABS i got 1-4 and 6-1 so yeah. By the way it's on the opposite side of the driver, fender side.
Rite now if you have codes in the system the abs/tcs is off.Sorry didnt know what you wanted.I cant look up thows codes rite now my computer is taking a shit.I will try to get back to you tomorrow.I can barley send this message.

I tried a few things and nothing. As soon as I reach 2nd gear and rev over 4,000rpm close to 5,000rpm it stalls and chokes. I let go of the accelerator and when I try to go at it again it stalls always at 3,000rpm. TCS is involved everytime. I just want to eliminate that crap. I want my brakes of course but just the Traction Control System period.
