Ok so since the day i got my 94 lx(little less than a year ago) the ABS has been non functional. No problem i was fine with that, but I got into my car tonight to drive home from work and the ABS light didn't come on(usually it comes on as soon as the car moves) so that needless to say was weird. Also now when i brake significently hard i can feel the pedal chatter,as if i were skidding on ice, and the ABS was making the brakes release and engage in order to prevent the brakes from locking.

So basicly I was wondering can the ABS just come back like that, I mean it is functioning right now due to the fact that the brakes are chattering like that,I assume, but I don't really understand why they are doing that. I never really braked that hard and the roads weren't icy tonight so this is confusing me.

Maybe this will give hope to all those 5thgeners whose ABS has let them down...

And if anyone has any thoughts or ideas as to why this all of the sudden occured please share....
