Default Clutch or Clylinders?

I have a 1990 Hoda Accord DX. The other day, it suddenly didn't want to go into gear. Now the clutch pedal doesn't pop back up, and doesn't always engage. But when it does engage, it holds just fine. I've taken it into a few shops, and a couple have told me its the clutch, but one told me its the master and slave cylinders. The clutch isn't even 3 years old, so everything about it says its the cylinders, but I haven't lost any fluid. Is there any way my hydraulic system could be losing pressure without losing fluid?

It would be odd for the clutch to go out and you not notice any kind of slippage before hand. I did run across a similar situation on an Integra and it turned out to be the clutch engagement arm that the slave cylinder pushes against. The arm had a crack and it would not allow full engagement. It felt like the hydraulics were out but there was no fluid loss.
