Immobilizer issue
I have a 99 Accord and this morning it did not start. Later I found out that the immobilizer is not recognizing both keys. The dealership told me to tow it in...
Is there any ways to disable the immobilizer?
Is there any ways to disable the immobilizer?
Update:
Car is at the dealership. They are saying that I have a bad battery. It tests at 420 CCA and it needs 640. Guy told me that there is a TSB for this issue - too low CCA can turn the starter ok, but mess up immobilizer.
I cannot find this TSB on google...Anyone heard about it?
My battery is fairly new, Walmart brand...

Yeah its true. The OEM battery is actually 550 CCA. Basically what happens is the Immobi control unit needs to have 12 volts. The starter however will turn with only 10-9 volts. If it drops below 12 volts (in the case of a week battery) Than it won't work properly and see the keys.
