hi i read up on some previous threads about changing an automatic shift knob on an accord.just take the screw out and the shifter pops out and pull up.but my question is if i wanted to shorten it from a 94-97 accord to a 03-05 type small knob.would everything just fit right back into place ??since the shift knobs are the same just smaller.please help id like to do this mod i hate the large high automatic shift knobs.
