yea im real pissed because i go to start my car and all of a sudden theres shit in my gauge sayin i need maintenance on the breaks and when i push on the brake pedal is seems stuck, like its hard to push down. if anybody knows how i can fix this let me know ASAP. Thanx

unscrew the cap to your brake fluid reservoir. There's a ball and bobber on the underside of it. Shake the cap, rescrew ... check the light again.


the "BRAKE" light comes on when you:
a) have the parking brake applied
b) have the ball thingy jammed on the cap.

 

damn your a life saver. lol. thanx alot.

 

Sounds more like the park brake is on.
