Mcculloch is a descent brand, but a retrofit will do much better then ANY hid kit.

I started with 4300k in the stock housing reaimed them worked ok had good light but still had some glare and hot spots even though I never got flashed went ahead and did a s2k retrofit and the result alot more usable light sharp cut off and the puprle-blue flicker everyone likes..so if you are good with tools do the retrofit!

you're wrong.

higher up the k scale you go, the less dense the light. you LOSE visibility close to 6,000.

YO 250 DOLLARS FOR HIDs??? You can find a way better ebay Auction than that. I just looked and i found a deal for 150$

I think I paid 149.99$ with free shipping from Hong Kong and when I seen that I bought it right away.

but dude 250$ is way too much bro. Save u 100 dollars just keep looking around you can find a better price for your Cars bulb Fitting.

by the way with my 10k HIDs... i dont know why everyones loosing visibility but I see EVERYTHING on the road theres very little i dont see when I travel on the dark roads.....I gotta make shure those Fu****g deer dont run into my Ride, I do so I dont understand what you all are saying when your... loosing visibility???

price isn't everything. With HID's, you want brand.

You said it yourself, "free shipping from Hong Kong"

Over there, quality is NOT a priority.

Listen to this guy. You'll be much happier with a retrofit "USABLE" light!

Well regardless with my HIDs they look Excellent and I have had them for around 6 months now. the light looks great and I have had no tech problems with them.

Im surprised this Arguement about Lighting went this Far.

they may look "great", but look at that glare. You're blinding everyone coming at you.

Park next to a car with 4300k HID's, I bet the 4300k HID's will have more USABLE light, unlike your blue kit....
