I need some help. which year is a better year for a accord. the 92 has 191,xxx miles on it and the 94 has 143,xxx. the 92 looks like a better condition but interior is ugly. (as in i don't like the color). the 92 is a ex and the 94 is a lx. please help me out guys!

 

the 92 ex will have more hp but i would have to agree that the majority of the interiors on 4th gens are pretty ugly.

id check how well the engine were maintained and base your opinion on that.

 

how do i check the engine? also the 92 comes with suspensions (dont know the brand) and dc headers and no name intake filter. the handling was sensitive when i drove it. probally the suspensions.

94...but that's just because I like the look of the 5th gens. :hs: Plus, it has 50k less miles.

 

94 less mileage , dual airbags and a newer car.

 

4th gen. Either year is easy to swap an engine out of. Its up to you. If the 92 was well maintained it will run for a bit longer. Same with the 94.

 

I like the taillights and steering wheel (with airbag) on the 93-94 more than the 90-92. But that's just me. What color are the interiors? I had a 94 with the burgandy and it was quite attractive IMO.

 

The 94 engines may be less trouble prone than the 92's.

 

I agree with checking the engines. Find out if you can have them both checked out by a mechanic if you don't know exactly what to look for. Mechanics will look at em for free and tell you if its worth buying. I have a 4th gen myself and I love it.
