Brake piston sizes...
So I'm trying to rebuild a set of JDM 1986-87 Accord dual piston brake calipers. Each piston is 40mm, and the only car I've found so far that has any brake pistons that size are the NSX. The seals and dust boots for the 40mm piston on the NSX calipers are about $25 and $35 respectively. So this would be a $200 brake rebuild.
I can't locate rebuild kits at my local "Shucks / Autozone / Parts America" auto parts stores either.
I know that the Legend also has dual pot calipers, but I can't find what size they are. I posted on acura-legend.com, but so far no replies.
Does anybody know of any other Hondas with 40mm brake pistons in the dual piston setup? This would be great news for anybody with the JDM Accord dual piston brakes... I've searched the forum here and can't seem to find the info.
