wireless fuel cutoff location
Anyone know what a wireless fuel cutoff unit look like or where are they generally installed. A member "strykernyc" mentioned he has this installed, please post some info about the unit. I have removed the Clifford brain and re-wire the ignition, the car cranks fine and has spark, just the fuel pump is not making its usual humming. BTW, it's a Lotus Esprit, it seems the Honda guys do a lot more work on their own cars, hence, more knowledgable. I used to surf on this site as I own an NSX before. Lots of useful info...thanks.
they can be anywhere in the car but usally they still need a power source my guess is locate the fuel pump relay under the dash and look around there or where the fuel pump wires goes out to the tank ..in general any wire that doesn't look stock as ther are not wireless just no wores to alarm brain but still need power from the car.
Thanks Stereo, well explained.
Anyone got a pic of what the Clifford cutoff look like? Are these cutoffs generally installed on the relay wires or the power wires. ie should I look around the relays or near the fuel pump. I will look for it at both places of course. Just that the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank, yes, inside the right side fuel tank - it also has a left side fuel tank but no pump for the left tank. Thanks guys.
