Radiator fan motor compatibility
tryin to gather some information since i need to fix a noisy radiator fan..
at autozone they sell the fan motor alone for 42$ i think, two different brands.
so my friend's fan is making a noise and i may just buy that instead of figuring out if a used one will fit or not. first i guess i'll try taking it apart and greasing it.

usually the fan mounts to the braket and Honda will typically use the same fan motor and just change the mount depending upon applicaton

they mount differently because the Accords that came out between 90-93 used different fan shrouds, depending on the different make of radiators that were put in by the factory.

yes ND or Mitsuba and are used in the accords 90-97 are the same on ND nor sure of the second. unless you know the used one is good it's not worth the trouble for $42. I wouldn't want to do the job over again. but then again I only use Honda parts...
