Struts/Shocks......same thing.
Something good will depend on what you are on right now.
Are you on stock springs, race or sport springs?
Some good but more affordable shocks are KYB GR-2, KYB AGX, Tokico Illumina or Tokico HP (Aka Tokico blues)

Why send him to HS when we can very well answer the question here.
He doesnt really NEED to understand all that stuff because he just wants to know what shocks are affordable and we dont know if he is on aftermarket springs or not, we dont know if he is planning on it or anything like that.

Are you on lowering springs, coilovers right now.........what is your current suspension setup, what is your goal in the end and how much of a budget do you have to work with.

i will have at most, $300 to work with. I have stock shocks and springs. i want to lower the car because these new/old shocks and crap are worn out and the car sits about an inch lower which looks good. since i am having to repair the entire passenger side i was going to change the suspension all around. i want something sporty but not too stiff, i have a strut bar if that matters. i also don't want to pay too much because the car will be sold around the summer of next year.

Default You missed a deal on eBay

I just recently sold a used Tokico HP setup on eBay, with a front camber kit, springs compressed and on the strut with coilovers.

I have a full set of KYB GR-2 struts, used with about 18000 miles, and lowering springs for a 1990 - 1997 Accord 4 door. Springs are redline, I think. I also have a used front camber kit. I'll take $150 for them all if U can use them, and I take Paypal. I am a verified paypal-er. This deal available to you first, then anyone else later if you pass.

Let me know ASAP!

if youre tryin to get a whole spring/shock combo, $300 is NOT going to get you very far. you could get away w/ a set of Eibach springs, but thats about it. that or a pair of shocks
