Shifting/Redline problems with JDM H22
Hey guys,
I don't know if this ever happen to any of you guys but my motor isn't shifting correctly in 4th gear and the redline isn't right either. What I have is a jdm h22a w/ auto tranny in my 93 Accord SE. I have everything replaced w/ the jdm h22a ecu along with the tcu. And yea I do have the same problem as everyone else does, "I can't shift out of park"...so I'm still in the process of trying to get that solve too. Well, here's my story, Supposely my motor shift at 30 mph into 4th gear and the redline is at 7200 rpm, that's with the h22a tcu. Now, my car is shifting "on and off" into 4th gear at 30 mph and 38 mph and my redline is stuck at the Accord's 6300 rpm. I don't know if my tcu is mess up or some other things is bad. Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on here?

Well, I got my "shifting out of park" fixed, thanks to fuse. About my shifting/redline problems, I bought another h22a TCU and it still does the same thing.
I just hope my tranny isn't mess up or could it be my ECU?
Damn! I'm getting too much headache wit this, probably going to sell the car.

is your motor actual going that high?? it sounds like an electrical issue with either gauges, dizzy, ecu. from what i am reading there is no possible way to be in fourth gear and such a high redline. a tranny will not do that (unless you are in second gear but i highly doubt that)
if youre using the h22a tranny, your redline should be 7800 or so. i know my h22a w/ h23 tranny has a redline of 7800. sounds like your gague cluster might be borked, or you have an electrical problem somewhere leading up to your gague cluster...
LOL how are you man still fighting it.I will take another look into it hope i can find something i missed last time.I never liked working with autos just swap to a manual lol.Dont sell it
Give me a couple of days on my off time i will look it over again.
