Default 9005 conversion on 5th gen Accord

I was considering upgrading the bulbs in my '94 Accord to silverstars. I haven't looked under the hood yet but are the bulbs pretty easy to swap out? I know the ones in my integra take like 2 seconds. Or do I have to move/undo stuff to get to them? Also, has anyone done a 9005 conversion on a 5th gen? Just wondering if it would be worth it or not.

I did a 9005 conversion on my 6th gen with Cool Blues, I wouldn't get Silverstars. The light output is hugely different, about 1700 lumens. I'd do it.

I'm not following what you're saying...why wouldn't you go with the silverstars? The cool blues seems a bit dim compared to the silverstars. Are you saying there is a light output advantage of 1700 lumens from the silverstars compared to the cool blues?

The tint on the bulbs actually hinders light output, lessening their lumen output. If I recall correctly, the Cool Blues have little to no tint to get in the way of the light. I'm connfident you'll like the Cool Blues.

I recall seeing little to no blue tint on my Cool Blues.

right, but the 9005 bulbs are high beams and have little to no tint on them as well, thus increasing output over the standard 9006 (low beam) bulbs...

I've done the conversion on my integra. I was just wondering if I would get decent results if I did this to my Accord. I didn't see the write-up though.
