86 Accord Idle High / Surging - HELP
Hello,
I've got an 86 Accord, 4 cyl, Auto, Fuel Injected. When I first start it up it idles at about 2000, then after a few minutes it starts surging between about 1300 and 2000. After another few minutes it will go back and forth between surging and idling high. Anyone suggestions would be much appreciated.
I have also noticed that the clutch is not fully disengaging when I let of the gas and / or come to a stop; is there a chance these problems are related?
I'm new to Hondas and would greatly appreciate advice.

Hey, thanks a bunch. I found an answer and already fixed the problem! If anyone else has the problem just click the link up there and look for a thread titled "idles wierd".
Another question though, it's idling steady now which is nice, and shifting steadier as well, but it still idles at 1500. Is that normal for a Honda? Still seems high to me - my Pontiac idles at 800, but I know they are quite different vehicles. Hondas and automatics are both new to me, so I'm learnin right now.
