my windows go up really slowly and sometimes they get stuck half way? someone mentioned a fuse problem but im not sure? when the lights are off they seem to go up a little faster...

 

what yr accord is it?

'lights being off they go up faster' may be the alternator.. its very common for the power window motors to go out in these cars. there r 2 fuse boxes. one inside the car, drivers side, under the dash, left kick panel area around where the hood release is located. the other is under the hood.

not sure about the fuse issue, ive yet to replace any fuses and i have a 92. ive replaced 2 window motors.

some generations the windows move slower then others. i have a 4th gen 4 dr (90 -93) so my windows go up and down completely. i think the 5th gen 4 dr (94-97) the rear windows only go half way down and they r slower then the 4th gen. not sure about the 2 dr 5 th gen.

 

bad window motor,dry or bad window run could also do this

 

yea 5th gen windows suck if u want to make it a little better take off the inner weatherstripping thats what i did it makes it easier to go up and down...but the motor is probably going bad
