99 accord coupe ex v6

The other day I was just leaning back in my drivers seat and i heard a popping sound and the front left part of the seat came up. the driver's seat is power so it can still move up and down on the rails and also i can lean the seat back and forth. i looked at the bolt and its still down so it just came off the rails or something? does anyone have any experience with this or what it is going to cost to fix it?

Seriously though you would just have to get down and look at it up close to see if the rail and/or nuts or bolts are still salvagable. If not, you could try to fix it yourself by seeing if individual parts are available but who knows, you might just need a new seat

I just had the same thing happen to me in my 00 v6 accord and I took it to the dealer and they said that the lower seat assembly was broken and it would cost over $1100 to fix!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't let them do it and am looking to replace it myself with a junkyard one. Good Luck to me!

 

ya the power seats are a pain and cost a lot i have changed a few and their is no serviceable parts just a hole new seat frame you might be able to get on from a j yard or get a non power seat the 99 came with non power seats alos that would bolt rite up but thy will not be leather
