who makes the best brake pads for the price? this is for a 5th gen lx. also, where is the best place to buy them online?

check ebay for axxis metal master and some guy is selling a new set for 27+6 shipping..

best brake pads: oem. all the semi metalic ones ive tried, including axxis, have cracked on me.

do you have oem rotors? if so the semi metallic ones probably got too hot.

For oem or brembo blank rotors I would go with AEM pads. They are made by nissin who makes oem, but they are better and cost about the same.

they cracked with both oem rotors and powerslots

do you drive hard? I just want it so I can stop 3300 lbs from 60-0 in time before I rear end someone and kill my body kit, my engine, and myself.

the only way that you'll get better braking performance is by changing your calipers and rotors. different pads wont make much of a difference in a stock braking system.

btw, i live on a big mountain. even when i use engine braking, i still have to use my brakes a lot. and i drive fast, but i dont abuse my brakes.
