Default do I need shocks or something else??

I have recently noticed that in the front, on the driver's side that I can feel every single bumb that I go across. It's like there is no "cushion" at all from the car. Also, when going over bumps I hear some noise...not like CV joint noise but just noise from the suspension from going over a bump. I only hear this noise on the driver's side. The driver's side is much worse that the passenger's side for feeling bumps. The car is a 1991 Accord with 204K miles. Will getting new shocks on the front fix this problem or is it most likely something else? If it's something else, what else could it be? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need new struts. If those struts were the oem off the factory line then definitely you'll need new struts. Is your ride dropped? Do you plan on keeping the car till she can't go no more?

Yea you probably blew it and need a new one, that's why you feel every bumb on the road.
