Just picked up an 88 Accord DX and it doesnt have a passenger side mirror. Are they available and if so where? Thanks for any help.............

the right mirror is rare because it's a manual one . the Lx ,Lxi comes standard with a power mirror . it will bolt on to the Dx just have toadjust it from the outside.

 

i used to own a 88 lx and the mirrors are actually very cheap, you probably could get one a local junk yard for about 15-20 bucks

 

That right mirror was an accessory part on the Dx... not all of them had it. Most people who bought DXs were too cheap to buy the $100 mirror

Look on eBay for someone parting out one of those cars.

Putting an Lx/Lxi mirror on a Dx is ghetto... IMHO

 

same with our camry, bought a used one off ebay...different color than the driver's one but its a beater

 

'88 Dx Accords did not have body-colored mirrors... they were black.
