Default brake lights stuck on help!!!!!!!!!

ok well ive had my car for a bout a year its a 1994 honda civic with a 2000 1.8 ls motor didi a bunch of work and probably 6 months ago i had no power at all. i replaces the psoitive wire going from the battery to the fuse box. butttttt......there are two wires that go into the box. in order for me to get power and my car to start i screwed both into the same one cause it was like the other one had no power. now idk if thats causing my problem but my tail lights are stuck on when the car is on. when its off its fine they are only on when the car is on and when i drive it looks like im riding the brake the whole way. can neone help cause this is cauing power porblems and my battery to go dead and when i turn my radio on if the key is in the on position even for a second the battery will go dead. i tried taking fuses out and the lights wont go off please neone help!!!!

maybe your brake switch that activates the lights is acting up?

I had this problem. Down near your brake pedal...when you push the brake pedal there is a little black rubber retainer. It might have come off or broke. That will keep your breaks lights stuck on.

and to explain a little more i dont understand why when i take the fuse out thewy still stay on which means constant power which is why i think the problem iis in the fuse box under the hood.

Check you're blinker fluid, and post in the correct section. Where are our mods, this is the second post in the wrong section.
