Default remote oil filter

anyone know if there is a kit to relocate the oil filter on a 05 tsx to a better location so oil doesn't go all over every time you change the filter?

Im sure you have thought of this but, normally I use a rage to clean up any excess spillage.

Where are you from? I grew up in Saratoga.

Anyway...if you're careful you won't make a mess at all. It's taken me awhile but on my V6 I've fnally gotten the hang of it. Just buy one of those disposable $5 oil change kits and set it under the filter after you drain the oil out of the block, you'll be all set.

You obviously haven't worked on a TSX. That damn intermediate shaft gets in the way and you will get oil spillage in some very odd nooks and crannies. I usually put a piece of cardboard over the intermediate shaft and use it to funnel most of the oil into a drain pan.

make sure the block is drained first, that will help. You can easily clean up any dripped oil with brake cleaner when you're done.
