Has anyone ever had a problem with the instrument dimmer switch working backwards? I just bought a 94 Accord EX, and the instrument dimmer works backwards (I assume) counter-clockwise is brighter, clockwise is dimmer. All of the instrument lights work, they are just backwards. It has the factory radio.....I've read where after market installations can cause dimmer problems. I installed another dimmer switch, and it did the same thing. When I changed the dimmer switch, I looked at the wiring harness to see if it looked altered in any way, but it didn't. BTW, I bought the dimmer switch on Ebay, could it be that the problem is in the dimmer switch, and I simply bought another dimmer switch with the same problem? I'm at a complete loss.
